What Students are saying:

Melinda’s knowledge of plants is truly amazing. She taught us to really look at color, shape, foliage texture and other aspects of plants that would help us in our plant pallet selection. The overlays we made showing flower color by season and foliage color taught us how to really know what our design will look like at all seasons. Now I can’t imagine doing a design without making the overlays. Her plant knowledge also encouraged us to use newer and exciting plants. Melinda was also very open to the ideas of others and didn’t believe her way was the only way.
