The scope of a Landscaped Architect’s work is extremely diverse and challenging. The present generation of Landscape Architects is doing truly innovative and groundbreaking work in the area of sustainable design and I am fortunate to be in this group. Through the understanding of natural landscapes and built environments, as design professionals, we seek to improve our quality of life; and so I have come to enjoy the challenge.
The UCLA Extension Landscape Architectural Program has given me an avenue to become a licensed Landscaped Architect and to see my ideas realized. I teach in hopes of encouraging and guiding students toward this wonderfully fulfilling career.”
